Billing & subscriptions
This page explains how organisation owners manage trials, subscriptions, and editor seats.
Trial and upgrade
Section titled “Trial and upgrade”When you create an organisation, you are automatically given a 14-day free trial. During the trial, the organisation owner has editor capabilities and can create and publish context. Teams can invite unlimited read-only members.
When the trial ends, all members revert to read-only access until upgrading to a paid subscription.
To upgrade:
Go to Settings → Billing, select Upgrade, choose the number of editor seats, then complete payment in Polar. Your subscription activates immediately and the selected editor seats become available.
Plans and pricing

Section titled “Team - $7 per editor seat per month”Includes unlimited read-only seats, unlimited libraries, MCP access, and email support.
Business - Custom pricing
Section titled “Business - Custom pricing”Includes everything in Team, plus SSO/SAML, dedicated account support, priority support, advanced security, and self-hosted deployment.
Managing seats and subscription
Section titled “Managing seats and subscription”Seat management has two parts:
• Billing controls how many editor seats you are paying for.
• Team controls which users are assigned those seats.
• Seat quantity: Settings > Billing - add or remove editor seats.
• Seat assignment: Settings > Team - invite users, change roles, remove members.
• Payments and invoices: Settings > Billing > Manage Billing (opens Polar).
