Team management

Manage your organisation settings and team members. This section covers how to add users to Sokket. Users with organisation owner or editor seats can invite team members.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Team
  2. Select the Invite button
  3. Enter the user’s email address
  4. Select the editor or read-only seat types
  5. Select Send Invite

You can only invite a user with an editor seat if you have an available, “unassigned” paid seat. You can invite unlimited users with read-only seats for free.

As the organisation owner, you can change the roles of existing team members at any time via the Team page.

To remove a claimed seat from a user, you must first free the seat, then manage it in billing.

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Find the user in the member list
  3. Change their role from editor to read-only
  4. This user loses editing privileges but retains read-only access. Their paid seat becomes “unassigned”

To permanently remove the seat from your subscription and reduce your bill, go to Settings > Billing and remove the seat in your Polar billing portal. This change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
